Respiro
This was my first music video and my first animation as a director, a project I worked on back in the day when my passion for filmmaking hadn’t yet emerged, but I was instead focused on illustration and design, particularly for music labels. I’m therefore particularly fond of it, even though my own style and the public’s tastes have changed over the years.
Commissioned by SONY MUSIC ITALY and the Italian rock band Le Vibrazioni in 2010.

The band’s lead singer, Francesco Sarcina, championed this animated video strongly in order to reach, through emotions, a wider audience, including children.
The video is conceived as a transformative journey through colour, somewhat reminiscent of a coming-of-age story told as a fairy tale.
